The Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an independent, member driven non-profit organization committed to serving the business community.

Our programs provide members with the latest ideas and practices for running and promoting their business. We offer a wide range of programs that give our members the opportunity to network with other businesses and consumers, keep members up-to-date on legislative issues and provide educational seminars and speakers on a host of business topics.

As an advocate for business, the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to creating and maintaining a positive business climate in the community by promoting interaction between business, community and government.

Member Benefits

  • Chamber members and their employees have the opportunity to generate contacts and obtain solid business leads through our monthly networking events. We provide our members with the opportunity to promote their business, products and services morning, noon and night!
  • To provide more opportunities to network and grow their business, the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry joins with 15 North and Northwest suburban chambers several times a year at progressive networking breakfasts and lunches, after hours events and business expos.
  • Marketing opportunities abound at the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Members receive two listings in the Community Guide and Business directory delivered to every business and 34,000 homes in Des Plaines as well as a listing on our website. Our New Neighbor program gives Chamber members the opportunity to promote their products and services to new residents and businesses every month. “Hot Deals” allow members to offer discounts to fellow chamber members and visitors to our website.
  • The Chamber offers quality education programs, seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics including sales and marketing, labor laws, accounting issues, website development and more.. Our educational workshops enhance leadership skills and increase professional growth and give you the tools you need to succeed.
  • Members are kept informed of important legislative issues affecting their business at local, state and federal levels through e-mail notices, the Mayor’s Annual Address to Business and the annual Legislative Roundtable that gives members an opportunity to meet with state representatives. As a member of NIBAC, Northern Illinois Business Advocacy Coalition , the Chamber has the ability to inform and educate members about legislation that impacts the business community in Northern Illinois.
  • Chamber members can use our resumé bank to find qualified employees to fill vacancies and post job openings on our website to be viewed by anyone visiting the site. Our members are provided with a wide range of additional services including
