As a member, you'll be included in our annual Directory and Community Guide, included in one of our many Specialty Brochures published throughout the year, listed by your category on our website, and be part of any referrals made through the Chamber office via phone, fax or email. (For many, this service is worth the annual investment alone!)

Monthly Newsletter.
Our monthly publication, the "Business Advocate", is full of Chamber news, tips, happenings, advice and other information that may help you in your business, or keep you informed of new Chamber programs or events. With a targeted local business circulation of over 1,000, advertising opportunities are limited to members only.
Publicity & Exposure through cost-effective advertising in Chamber publications, promotional mailings, business expos, New Neighbor Welcome Program, website and more are available to members.

The Chamber offers a selection of quality educational programs such as seminars, workshops and Leadership Series to enhance leadership skills and professional growth at all levels of employment.

The Chamber monitors all levels of government and acts as the "Voice of Business"on legislation. It studies and analyzes issues of interest to Des Plaines and its business community. It takes advocacy positions on issues and addresses them with members, elected officials and the community. A Legislative "Fax Action"Network provides accurate and immediate information on current pending legislation.
Discounts/Special Rates.
Through its Member to Member Discount program, discount/special rates are offered by Chamber members to Chamber members. It encourages members to buy from each other.

To ensure a quality workforce for tomorrow, the Chamber works to develop better understanding and communication between the business and educational communities, to teach and foster the skills and values students need to succeed in the workplace, and to play an advocacy role in educational issues that will provide a well-educated workforce for the future. Business Resources.
Through its many publications, the Chamber keeps members informed on issues affecting the successful operation of local business. The Chamber maintains membership in local, state and national organizations to bring members the most accurate and up-to-date business information. A Business Resource Center is housed in the Chamber office and provides books, reports, newsletters, business videos & tapes, and trade publications to assist members.
Special Services.
Rental of the Chamber's Conference Room is available to members only at a nominal cost per hour, half-day or full day. Quarterly specialized brochures, mailing labels of member businesses are available for a nominal cost to members only. Certificate of Export Documentation services and Free Notary services are provided exclusively to members.

Membership Investment Rates
Membership investment rates are based on the number of employees at the facility that is joining. If your organization is a not-for-profit or you are an individual interested in membership, there is a flat rate. Please review the rate schedules below and complete the membership application with the rate pertaining to your business.
