Monthly & quaretly networking events, multi-chamber events, networking groups and personal referrals give our members the opportunity to obtain solid business leads and develop business and community relationships.

Monthly & Quarterly Events

First Friday - Monthly

This structured networking event includes a breakfast buffet from Katie's Kitchen, a craft talk and 45 minutes of roundtable discussions with 8 to 10 businesses.

Networking After Hours - Monthly

This is a perfect event to attend to develop potential leads and build business relationships. Members enjoy appetizers, beverages and conversation in a casual atmosphere. Hosted by different members each month, this is the ideal place to relax, meet potential clients and gather leads.

Women in Business, sponsored by Rivers Casino - Monthly

A dynamic group of women and men with diverse backgrounds, education and occupations who meet each month at the Chamber offices for a brown bag lunch. Monthly speakers provide information on professional and personal development in a friendly atmosphere that promotes networking and growth.

DP Pros: Educate to Elevate, sponsored by O'Hare Offices - Quarterly

If you are a professional looking to grow your network of contacts and learn best practices from the experts in all sorts of industries this meeting is for you. The group meets quarterly for a brown bag lunch, networking, craft talks and guest speakers of interest to to our member companies.

Multi-Chamber Events

We work with surrounding chambers to provide networking events to help our members get connected with solid business leads from other local suburban chamber members chambers.  


Networking & Special Groups

These non-competitive referral groups meet to generate new business for fellow member companies through a system of leads and referrals. To date, these groups have recorded millions of dollars of revenue from their referrals.

D.E.N. Des Plaines Executive Networking

D.E.N. is an exclusive, industry-specific networking group focused on building strong relationships that lead to quality referrals and business growth.

We meet year-round on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 8:00–9:00 AM - at the Chamber office on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, and rotating between member businesses and Katie’s Kitchen (Wolf & Central) on the 4th.

B2B: The Business to Business network groups meets the second and fourth Friday of the month at 8:00 am at either the Chamber Office or at a B2B member's place of business. This group is all about Business to Business referals and friendships.

GB2: The Des Plaines Chamber is thrilled to introduce a NEW non-compete networking group, a community designed to take your business growth to new heights. VISION:Collaboration, Competition and Philanthropic efforts to help make our community stronger by working together. This group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 9 a.m- 10 a.m.. at the Chamber's Office.

Each year the Chamber partners with a school of business from local colleges and universities to present a series of certified programs to develop the skills and qualities you need to succeed at all business levels.

Legislative Opportunities

Want to learn what's "brewing" with our local legislative representatives? Attend our new "COFFEE TALK" round table discussion where you can meet with our local legislators, in a small group setting, to get to know them better as well as get your business questions answered that may be either affecting your business or affecting you, personally.

Keeping up with local legislative issues affecting your business is important. At our annual fall "Legislative Progressive Breakfast",  we give members the opportunity to meet with current legislative representatives in small groups, to ask questions and receive answers.
